Ishan Advisors helps clients develop corporate, market entry, technology, and supply chain strategies, as well as the organizational capabilities to pursue them. We usually adopt the perspective described in Core Ideas.

We are "Advisors" not just by name, but because of our approach. Amit is closely involved with each project from the initial definition of scope to the final deliverable. However, unlike traditional consultants, we do not base dedicated project teams at our client's offices. Most supporting work (like research, model building and data analysis) occurs off-site. Amit regularly visits the client's offices only to interview people, collect hard-to-specify data, and to lead decision-making discussions. He is also accessible to client executives by the Web and by phone.

Moreover, Amit leads a Strategy Workshop. We typically undertake projects only if our client agrees to assemble all stakeholder executives for a 1-2 day meeting (depending on the project) at which all analyses are reviewed, recommendations are debated and modified, and responsibilities for action are specified. Amit facilitates these discussions and the annotated discussion documents that guided the Workshop becomes our final deliverable.
